Special advertising sections
and special editorial projects represent one of the core
competencies of James Armstrong & Associates, Inc. Our
primary creative team, which consists of a prominent Midwest
writer, editor and art director, has a long history of
demonstrated success in tackling special section and custom
publishing projects. For more information about Our Team,

Over four years, this
group produced Economic Development Special Sections for three
clients, which were BusinessWeek Special Sections,
Inbound Logistics and the former Transportation & Distribution
Magazine.
Also, during March, 2005, my Inbound Logistics team produced a blockbuster 23 page Nebraska Special Section and during June, 2005, this team again repeated its success with a 21 page St. Louis Region Special Section. Since that time, each year, Inbound Logistics has continued to produce four to five such economic development special sections annually, with all of these supplements, except one each year, being spearheaded from a sales and marketing point of view by me. For its part, Inbound Logistics continues to reign as the leading logistics magazine in North America, both in terms of editorial and advertising pages.
Of course, due to corporate
restructuring and smaller staffs in our industry, such a
capability can become important as one means to lower costs
and improve corporate profits. In this way, new revenue
streams can be developed by a group of "outside"
professionals, who are designed to compliment and add to the
skills of the existing employees. In addition, the goal for
this group relates to adding incremental sales and profits
from a prospect base not ordinarily seen in the magazine or by
increasing sales to the existing client base with
"new" opportunities.
